Let me explain to you some of what we will cover in "5 Stages of a Painting" and how it will help you as an artist.
- Stage 1: Are you overwhelmed? Do you have analysis paralysis? I'll teach you how to break out of that overwhelm.
- Stage 2: It's very common to be your own worst enemy. You can totally crumple under the pressure of your own scrutiny.
- Stage 3: Here you start being tempted to copy other people. I'll teach you to stand in your own creative voice and embrace it.
- Stage 4: At this stage you may be afraid of messing up your painting. You like where it's going but you hesitate to take the next step. I'll show you how to work outside your comfort zone.
- Stage 5: How do you know if your painting is actually done? Is it time to sign it or not?
Knowing what stage you are in helps you to move through the painting process more easily. That's especially true for those times when you are stuck and don't know what to do next.
